Raffaella Laezza, Italian architect and PhD at University IUAV of Venice, Italy.

She studied architecture at IUAV di Venezia, where she also obtained a Phd in Architectural design. At IUAV, she followed the courses of Peter Eisenman, Manfredo Tafuri, and

she was teaching assistant of Franco Purini.

She is Scientific Director and Adjunct Professor of Architectural Design at University IUAV’s Postgraduate Master, “Architecture CO2=0”. She taught Architectural design at the University of Parma, Padova, Trento, Trieste and at Hanyang Postgradutae University of Seul, South Corea, New Yprk Institute of Technology.

She is an architectural designer, indipendent theorist, architecture writer.

In particular, she theorised the projectual method of

Eco Generative Architecture.

From the macro vision of nature / ground line and from micro visions of nature / digital microscope

she draws the constructive genetic codes for the project of ephemeral and sacred multireligious spaces,

as a social and sustainable response to the contemporary.

In her theory the life and birth of a building is similar to that of a living being in process.
